KG Steam

STEAM at Naseem International School is an engaging, play-based and trans-disciplinary teaching and learning approach that integrates the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics and it is truly embedded in our practice as an IBPYP school.

The NIS STEAM approach ensures that our students are motivated, capable of making informed decisions and are continuously challenged. We believe in the unbounded nature of learning and the ability of each and every child to discover and innovate and create.

Our student-centered, inquiry-based approach ensures that trans-disciplinary skills such as communication, social, research, thinking and self-management skills are a major focus in STEAM activities. Our students in Kindergarten have the freedom to think critically, creatively, and innovatively as we challenge them to find solutions to problems and create a world of endless opportunities.

Our newly built STEAM MakerSpace encourages play-based learning through Units of Inquiry. It is designed to foster a culture of creative thinking, teamwork and innovation. In these spaces, students work on collaborative projects and activities while they are encouraged to explore different concepts and ideas that interest them We inspire our students to actively discover and persevere as they develop crucial transferrable and transversal skills. We mentor our students to use their knowledge and skills to become productive members of society and the world.
